Team Photos
This year photographer Dave Watson has offered to take team photos with Dragon Statue.
He WILL TAKE 8 -10 PHOTOS OF EACH TEAM. THEREFORE, EACH TEAM MEMBER CAN CHOOSE THE PRINT IN WHICH THEY LOOK THEIR BEST.
ALL photos will be individually printed.
Prices (8x11 print) would range from $7.50 each for 25 prints to $10.00 for singles (remember that a portion is returned
to the Dragon Boat Charities).

OPEN HOUSE FOR DRAGON BOAT VOLUNTEERS
Calling all volunteers!!!
We are looking for your expertise and help at this years Dragon Boat Festival. We are having an open house for all registered volunteers and any others that would like to get involved. We have various areas to fit you in at this years event, as well as the Lakeview Eats n'Beats Festival. Here are the details of the Open house for Volunteers:
WHEN: Wednesday, June 29,2011, between 4pm - 8pm
WHERE: Dragon Boat Office
975 Lesperance Road,
Tecumseh, Ontario.
(old Tecumseh Day Care Centre, between Fire Station and Police Station)
WHY: To pick up volunteer t-shirts and hand in waiver form
Please make arrangements to attend the above open house anytime BETWEEN 4 AND 8 P.M. Waiver can be signs at the open house. Hope to see you and a friend,

We are searching for people interested in paddling in this years event. If you have never paddled before and want to give it a try, we have teams that are looking to biuld there team up with some great people of the community. Just contact Anissa at lakeviewbeats@gmail.com for more info or to contact a team.
VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!
You you like to come out and see what the dragn boat event is all about? We have lots of fun and interative things that you could do to be apart of your community at this great event. Lakeview Eats'n Beats Festival at the Waterfront Park
"Eat, Drink and Rock at beautiful Tecumseh Waterfront Park
evenings of July 8th and 9th.
Enjoy a wide variety of quality food and drink on the waterfront. Here are the bands we have booked for the Lakeview Festival this year....
Admission is $7 bucks at the door and we have family area so come and enjoy some local music at the waterfront park!

STUDENT TEAMS
We are also taking entries for student teams that are interested in paddling on July 9th of the event. Compete against schools and student organizations from all over the county. If you are 13-18 and can get a team together, this would be a great way to support your school or organization. YARD SALE FOR THE CURE SAT MAY 28
Sat May 28th we want your junk!
We are registered with the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation to participate the Yard Sale for the cure day. By participating in the Yard Sale you can help to create a future without breast cancer. Thanks to the passion and generosity of participants like you, Yard Sale for the Cure has raised over $750,000. And this year with your help we hope to raise even more.
So if you are looking to do some spring cleaning and drop a box or two off at the Dragon boat headquarters, we will find a home for all your old treasures. Even one box will go a long way for cancer.
Any donations can be made to the Dragon Boat Headquarters at 975 Lesperance Road, Tecumseh, ON. If you have any other questions regarding any info please contact the office at 519.739.9588

MOTHERS DAY ROSES IN HOPE FOR A CURE
From May 2nd to May 8th the local community Dragon Boat Teams are selling potted Pink Roses at Devonshire Mall for $10.00 to help meet their fundraising goals in hopes to find a cure for Breast Cancer.
We are also selling lots of other great Power of Pink Breast Cancer merchandise to support our teams. We have custom made Mother's Day cards, stuffed animals, bracelets and pins and so much more, I am sure your mother and grandmother will love. It will be so much more meaningful that you are helping such a cause at the same time.
So come out and take a look at our diaplay, we will have a real dragon boat on display for everyone to view. There will be team members there to answer all your questions about the dragon boat races and the up coming festival in July.
We will be set up in front of Sport Check near The Bay in Devonshire mall. Come on out it will be great to see you.
