Attention volunteers!

Volunteers will need to register and sign in at the event and will be told where they will be needed. They will also be rotated at times to different areas to cover lunches, breaks, fatigue etc.
while cell phones are permitted at the event, we kindly ask that they are not used while you are volunteering.
High school hours will be given to the volunteers for community service.

Thank you for you interest in the 2010 International Dragon Boat Festival in Tecumseh located at Riverside Drive and Manning, across Lakewood Golf Course.
On Saturday, June 26th as well as Sunday, June 27th, there will be a Manadatory Volunteer Meeting at 10am and also at 2pm on each day at the site mentioned above.
Anybody who volunteers must be at 1 of the 4 times.
These are also practice dates for team so many of you will be by the water already.
This meeting is going to be brief , approx 20 minutes but it will allow our organization a chance to make any last minute changes, etc.
You will then be put on a roster and will be checked off same the days you show up to volunteer with Sunday being our busiest race day.
We also have various events taking place on the Thursday, Friday , Sat night too.
